Too many projects do not deliver the expected results with respect to margin, quality or on–time delivery. We at Considium have worked for and with our clients for 25 years on improving results and achieving goals. We have adapted this approach to projects and we now work with numerous clients to ensure achievement of results in project portfolios and major projects.

Project assurance is a management process focused on meeting future milestones and project goals. The participants are project managers and management when working on portfolio level and the project management team when working with large projects.

Each person responsible for results presents an evaluation of to what extent milestones and goals will be achieved, possible risks and opportunities, and actions and decisions needed to deal with the situation.

The group gives feedback on whether they agree with the evaluation and whether the suggested actions are sufficient and acceptable. The group give suggestions on what can be done and reach necessary decisions to secure the project.

Good project assurance demands that there be clear and binding goals and milestones, agreed working rules and a clear distribution of roles and responsibilities.
